Birthday Celebration

A birthday is a precious time of joy and celebration. A few touches of favorite characters, toys and activities for a child or special moments for an adult can make it a memorable event.

Decide what party you want~

Do you want an indoor or outdoor( weather permitting) formal or informal? You can have a pool party, rent tent, county parks are accessible on the weekends. For indoor options, bowling, ice skating party, indoor gym or arcade are optional

Theme Design ~

A theme will help you choose decor as well as venue .Children theme suggestions include Hello Kitty ,Legos,Sports,Cars ,Butterflies and more. Yout can ask guests to come dressed party themes. Adults party themes consist of Black & White, Football themes,Winter in Wonderland

Meetings & Consults /Who will be invited~

 How many people will the venue comfortably accommodate, if you’re hosting a child’s party how many children can you supervise? If you decide to invite your child’s classmates invitations can be issued in class. Do you want to include the siblings? Try to invite friends your child is close to. Consider limiting the size, a big party is often overwhelming for your child

Send invites~

Your invitations set the mood as to what kind of party it will be.Give a deadline for RSVP’s. It is appropriate to email invitations through sites such as evite.com and electronically.Invitations should include the name of birthday child, how old they will be, the date and time of the party including an end time, clarify if it’s a drop off or not, a location with address and directions. Expect a few more than your RSVP list.

Select activities~

The activities will set the tone for the party theme.Hiring a comedian is a great choice for adults and a Disney character/face painting artist, arts handicrafts projects at home or at a craft store such as Michael’s or Joanne’s ( Lowe’s and Home Depot also have kid workshops on specific days) plan a treasure hunt, Swimming if you have proper supervision.

Menu selection~

If the party is during mealtime guests will expect meal. Serve snacks and a birthday cake/ cupcakes. The easiest food is pizza. For adult parties know your guests and select menu with caution.

Goodie bags optional~

You might want to incorporate your budget for the party, not favors. In lieu of candies, fill the pinata with trinkets, erasers, rings, coins, whistles.
